Joint ABOA and AFOA Golf Tournament
The tournament is being driven by the ABOA with the agreement to share and assist in sharing funds with the AFOA who are just as excited and highly motivated to achieve the same goals recruitment and scholarship’s for student athletes. In closing the reality both sports are in dire need to recruit and establish a sound professional development programs, new leadership in both sports are in agreement and together can develop a mutual partnership to achieve the end goal recruitment and providing opportunities for student athletes. I want to send a big shout out to Travis Clark who is the new incoming ABOA president and member of the Canyon Club who secured this great opportunity to play at this stellar course which is not only challenging but very prestigious, as a member only club, thank you senor Travis. In addition Twin Peaks and Hooters (17) female personal will be assisting in this tournament, but not advertised in the flyer its only FYI for your all sake. There will be other prizes provided by sponsorship from local business vendors.

Behind The Flag Golf Tournament

Behind The Flag and dreamBIG™ Inc. 501(c)(3) organization are seeking your support. We are hosting the 1st Annual Behind the Flag Fundraising Golf Tournament on July 24, 2022, at Paradise Golf Course in Albuquerque, NM. Our goal is to raise funds to support the Behind The Flag Officiating Organization with their training, recruitment, and retention of New Mexico high school football officials.
Each year Behind The Flag provides valuable training to the New Mexico High School Football Officials through classroom learning, on-field training, and networking opportunities for New Mexico football officials to improve their knowledge and skills. Our clinicians are local Collegiate officials currently officiating in the Mountain West Conference, Conference USA, Lone Star Conference, and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
The money raised from this tournament will go to paying fees for facility usage, scholarships for officials in need to attend camps and clinics, operational costs of running camps and clinics, travel for guest speakers from around the country, and video technology for supporting learning for New Mexico football officials.
